Jeff Martel - the mojo master
Strategic Director & Founder 

Jeff Martel is a Strategic Director whose focus is on creating strategic solutions to marketing initiatives. He strives to create contemporary and memorable branding and marketing campaigns that serve to increase market share and generate brand awareness. Jeff is responsible for all aspects of the marketing and branding campaigns that are produced for Firebrand - from brand creation, to advertising and direct marketing campaigns, as well as corporate communications and collateral.

Prior to Starting Firebrand, Jeff was the Marketing Director for NewHomeMarketplace.com. There he created the New Home Marketplace Portal and was responsible for the creation of the branding and advertising and web presence for multiple new home communities. Jeff has also worked for national and multi-national marketing agencies both in California and Idaho. He was a senior Graphic Designer and project lead working on Packaging Design projects for Hewlett-Packard and was responsible of every phase of production for HP's LaserJet, ScanJet, and Photosmart product lines. Jeff has worked on Branding, Identity, Advertising, and Packaging projects for clients such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Frontier Natural Foods, Con-Agra, and multiple small to mid-sized companies.

Jeff holds a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from The Academy Of Art College University in San Francisco, CA and has over 13 years of experience in Marketing and Advertising. Jeff's design work has been featured in multiple trade publications and he has experience in every aspect of marketing and design. Prior to starting Firebrand, Jeff operated a successful consultation company, M2 Marketing, that was focused on strategic branding for clients. Jeff is also a licensed Realtor in the state of Idaho and was able to be involved in over $6 Million in real estate transactions in 2006 alone.

Todd Funke - Technocentric
Technology Director & Founder

Todd Funke is a Technology Director whose focus is on generating cutting edge solutions to today's technology needs. Todd is responsible for creation and implementation of all aspects of technology deployment for our clients - from Web site development and software architecture to database design and integration.

Prior to Starting Firebrand, Todd was a senior consultant and engineering Group Leader for Blackfin Technologies in Boise, ID. There he was responsible for the creation of proprietary software applications for such clients as Boise Cascade, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard plus multiple other small to mid size clients. Todd created applications utilizing distributed architecture that separates the Data, Business, and Presentation Layers - which doesn't mean much to regular folks, but it's pretty cool stuff if you need it!

Todd holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY and has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology. Todd is a software engineer proficient in all of today's programming and website technologies and has a vast background in database design and integration. Todd has worked on many high level government consulting jobs as well.
